Storm Damage 3/2/18

Due to the severity of the storm on March 2nd and the extensive tree damage left behind, the City is extending the courtesy of picking up large tree debris that is left on the property side of the curb until March 23, 2018

The following guidelines will apply:

1) Tree debris must be cut into two foot lengths

2) Tree debris must be kept on the property side of the curb
3) Do Not leave tree/storm debris on the road as that could be dangerous to pedestrians, cyclists and motorists

4) After March 23, 2018, residents will be responsible for the removal of any  storm/tree debris that is wider than four inches and longer than four feet in length

5) During this grace period of large tree debris removal, the City must suspend bagged or containerized yard debris pick up.  Yard debris pickup will resume, according to the Sanitation Schedule, beginning the week of March 26, 2018

If you have any questions about this March 2nd storm debris removal, please contact the Bureau of Highways and Forestry at (914) 422-1202.
